About the Journal
The VIMS Journal of Physical Therapy (VIMSJPT) — formerly known as the VIMS Journal of Physiotherapy Case Reports (ISSN: 2456-4087 [Online]) — is a peer-reviewed, open-access official e-journal of Dr. Vithalrao Vikhe Patil Foundation’s College of Physiotherapy, Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. The journal is dedicated to advancing and disseminating scholarly research in the field of physical therapy, with the goal of enhancing clinical practice, education, and evidence-based rehabilitation.
Scope and Focus Areas
VIMSJPT welcomes original research articles that significantly contribute to the body of knowledge in physiotherapy. Submissions may span across the following core specialties: Orthopaedic Physiotherapy , Neuro-Physiotherapy, Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy, Community-Based Rehabilitation, Sports Physiotherapy
These areas align with the academic framework of the affiliating university and reflect the multidisciplinary nature of modern physical therapy.
Publication Frequency
The journal is published biannually: January–June (Issue 1) , July–December (Issue 2). Each issue includes a minimum of 10 peer-reviewed articles.
